Unlike its predecessor, Zuitzerland seeks permanence by establishing an enduring resident node that channels the spirit of Zuzalu into actionable governance frameworks.

Participants in Zuitzerland will engage in a variety of activities, ranging from residency programs and urban pop-up events to hackathons that focus on relevant themes like Web3, AI, privacy computing, and brain-computer interfaces. The project’s core ambition is to investigate whether a technology-driven, decentralized, yet durable society can be viable in reality.
By addressing existing governance challenges faced by decentralized entities—where innovative concepts often lack practical application—Zuitzerland aims to create a manageable environment for testing new social structures and governance methods. It will not merely theorize about decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) but rather facilitate real-life collaboration and self-governance, allowing for continuous system optimization.

This project specifically recognizes three target demographics: individuals deeply engaged in governance experiments in a non-mainstream manner. Zuitzerland embodies the principles of “Defensive Accelerationism,” prioritizing safety and sustainability amid rapid technological advancement. Participation Details
The project will welcome participants starting May 1, running through the entire month with themed weeks encompassing workshops, summits, and hackathons. Costs for participation will range from 650 to 2,500 Swiss francs each week. Throughout these activities, participants will work collaboratively to invent social prototypes and technological applications, culminating in a final presentation of their results. Scholarships to assist with accommodation may be available to facilitate access for those with financial constraints, and those holding NFTs will be prioritized.
