Conclusion of Anti-Fraud Month

The second installment of the global Anti-Fraud Month organized by Bitget has successfully concluded, highlighting critical concerns related to AI-facilitated cryptocurrency fraud. This initiative aimed to enhance awareness among users about security threats and improve preventative measures through a plethora of engaging formats, including interactive games, informative dialogues with experts, and the dissemination of detailed industry reports.

Smarter Eyes Challenge

One of the standout features of this month-long event was the Smarter Eyes Challenge, designed to educate participants about common fraudulent situations like phishing attacks, social engineering tactics, and deceptive token authorizations via gamification. Initial results revealed that a mere 8.60% of participants were able to spot all the fraud traps accurately during the first attempt. However, after receiving essential security tips, this figure rose significantly to 65.41%, underscoring the efficacy of educational initiatives in improving user vigilance.

Collaboration and Reports

Additionally, during the event, Bitget collaborated with industry leaders SlowMist and Elliptic to publish the “2025 Global Crypto Anti-Fraud Trend Report”. This report forecasted that global losses linked to cryptocurrency fraud could soar beyond $4.6 billion in 2024, with AI-generated deep fakes and social engineering techniques expected to dominate as the primary methods of attack.

Commitment to Security

As part of their commitment to bolster security in the Web3 ecosystem, Bitget hosted specialized discussions via X Space, partnering with various security-focused organizations, including Hacken and GoPlus. This collaborative effort aims to promote a unified approach to developing a strong security framework within the evolving digital landscape.

Furthermore, the Bitget Anti-Fraud Center has transitioned into a routine operational model, providing users with essential security resources such as practical guides, risk assessment tools, identity verification systems, and round-the-clock global support, all dedicated to fostering a safe trading environment in the cryptocurrency space.
