Bitget Partners with University of Zurich
Bitget, a prominent player in the cryptocurrency sector, has joined forces with the University of Zurich’s Blockchain Center, recognized as a global leader in blockchain education. This collaboration is set to enhance the educational landscape by sponsoring the sixth installment of the international summer program titled ‘Deep Dive into Blockchain’, scheduled for 2025.
Scholarship Initiative
As part of this initiative, Bitget will offer substantial scholarships and career growth opportunities, specifically aimed at fostering young talents who aspire to enter the blockchain domain. This scholarship initiative is a component of Bitget’s broader $10 million educational effort, known as Blockchain4Youth (B4Y), which is designed to increase accessibility to quality blockchain education for promising students.
A total of ten scholarships will be awarded to qualifying individuals who demonstrate both academic merit and financial need. The scholarships will fully cover essential expenses including tuition fees, housing, local transport, as well as expenses for field visits and cultural exchange activities.
Program Curriculum and Goals
The curriculum will offer a comprehensive examination of blockchain technology, considering various dimensions such as legal implications and economic impacts. The program’s goal is to nurture well-rounded future professionals equipped with an interdisciplinary outlook.
Expert Contributions
In addition, Bitget’s COO, Vugar Usi Zade, will contribute by teaching in person during the summer course, where he will share his extensive practical expertise and work towards fostering collaboration between academic institutions and industry.
