Together, they unveiled the “Ethereum Applications Guild” (EAG), an initiative designed to foster cooperation among developers, researchers, teams, and institutions working within the Ethereum ecosystem.
Goals and Structure of the EAG
The primary goal of the EAG is to establish an open and sustainable framework for collaboration, thereby accelerating the development and practical deployment of native Ethereum applications.
The EAG is distinctive in that it does not function as a traditional foundation or accelerator. Instead, it aims to form a global network dedicated to Ethereum-native application development, with Shanhaiwu identified as the main hub for incubating these applications. This initiative encourages developers to create, test, and promote solutions aimed at addressing real-world challenges.
Innovative Collaborative Framework
Rather than operating as a formal organization, the EAG proposes an innovative conceptual framework, introducing a new collaborative paradigm for builders within the Ethereum community. Its vision is to shift the focus of the Ethereum ecosystem from a primarily infrastructure-based approach to one driven by innovative applications.
