He proposed that L2 could serve pivotal functions, including managing large-scale data operations that go beyond the current limitations of native data availability (DA). Furthermore, he discussed how L2 could improve transaction processing speed and security against maximal extractable value (MEV) exploits, along with fostering a variety of virtual machine (VM) configurations.
