JuCoin Establishes European Headquarters
JuCoin has officially set up its European headquarters in Switzerland’s renowned Crypto Valley, a decision made public on August 5. The choice of Zug was largely driven by Switzerland’s consistent regulatory clarity and its status as a hub for innovation in the cryptocurrency industry. This region is celebrated for being home to pioneering firms like Bitcoin Suisse, which have shaped the sector’s landscape.
Local Team and Workforce Growth
The company has assembled a foundational local team that includes experts in marketing, community engagement, customer support, and business development. JuCoin aims to grow its workforce significantly, targeting an increase to 100 employees by the close of 2025, with a strong focus on sourcing talent from the local area.
Regulatory Compliance and Future Plans
In terms of regulatory compliance, JuCoin has submitted its application for the EU MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) license, indicating its commitment to operating within established legal frameworks.
Hugo Teo, JuCoin’s European Chief Operating Officer, articulated the company’s mission, stating, “Our aim transcends just delivering trading platforms; we strive to establish a reliable, user-friendly, and environmentally sustainable service network for crypto users in Europe.”
JuCoin plans to unveil a comprehensive ecosystem that includes several innovative products, such as JuChain (its blockchain infrastructure), JuChat (a social networking platform), JuGame (in the realm of blockchain gaming), and JuOne (various hardware solutions) to cater to the European market.
