According to a report from Citi, the market for stablecoins is projected to grow at an impressive compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 45%.

Within this flourishing marketplace, Pendle has positioned itself as a crucial player, capturing around 30% of the yield market associated with stablecoins. Remarkably, over 80% of Pendle’s Total Value Locked (TVL) is made up of stablecoin assets.
Innovative Yield Tokenization
Pendle’s innovative approach involves a mechanism called “yield tokenization,” which allows for the segmentation of yield-generating assets into two distinct types of tokens: Principal Tokens (PT) and Yield Tokens (YT). This strategy not only helps users secure fixed returns but also enables them to mitigate risks related to fluctuating interest rates.
