According to reports, the suspect, disguised as a delivery person, was caught on surveillance footage approaching Groom’s luxurious home, valued at $4.4 million. He was seen ringing the doorbell while carrying what appeared to be a white package, claiming to be a partner employee of UPS and introducing himself as ‘Joshua’.
After the victim answered the door and confirmed the name, the suspect forced his way inside, which incited a chaotic scene. Police information suggests that during the robbery, the suspect brandished a handgun and directly threatened Groom, subsequently tying him up with tape.
