History and Purpose of the Awards
The Satoshi Nakamoto Award was established in 2023 by UXUY as an homage to exceptional contributors to the crypto industry. Last year, the inaugural award was presented to Sam Altman, founder of WorldCoin, in recognition of his efforts towards Universal Basic Income (UBI).
