Strive Inc. Reports $509 Million Profit in Q3 as Bitcoin Holdings Exceed $3.25 Billion
Strive reports a $509M Q3 profit driven by its surge in Bitcoin holdings, totaling $3.25 billion, marking significant growth in its treasury management.

Strive Inc. Reports Significant Q3 Profit
In a remarkable display of growth, Strive Inc. (Nasdaq: ASST), a company primarily focused on bitcoin treasury management, has declared a substantial profit of $509 million for the third quarter of 2026. This profit is attributed largely to significant gains in its cryptocurrency assets. Their financial disclosure on Friday underscored a robust performance, showing a net income of $5.24 per diluted share.
The impressive profit is largely derived from unrealized gains totaling $533.7 million within their bitcoin holdings, spotlighting the reliance on cryptocurrency performance over traditional business revenue streams, as Strive only reported $2.7 million in operable revenue against expenses amounting to $38.7 million.
Acquisition Strategy and Bitcoin Holdings
As of September 30, the company has undertaken an aggressive acquisition strategy, adding more than 15,000 bitcoins to its reserves since the beginning of the quarter. Strive reported acquiring 8,136 BTC during the three-month period, which has pushed its total acquisitions for the year to 20,373 BTC. By the quarter's end, the value of Strive's digital asset portfolio had ballooned to approximately $2.34 billion, a sharp rise from $668.5 million at the conclusion of 2025. Its total asset count stood at $2.68 billion, enhancing its position as a major corporate entity in the crypto space.
The company calculated a quarterly bitcoin yield of 18.5% and a year-to-date yield of 63.2%. However, it is important to note that this yield metric does not equate to income dispensed to shareholders but rather signifies the growth relative to the company's diluted share count.
Following the conclusion of the reporting period, Strive further intensified its acquisition efforts, purchasing an additional 15,124 BTC between October 1 and October 30, elevating its total bitcoin holdings to 43,000 BTC – an increase of over 54% from the September 30 figure of 27,876 BTC.
Recent Transactions and Capital Raising Initiatives
Among the notable transactions since mid-October, Strive executed its largest single-week acquisition to date by adding 3,311 BTC for roughly $280 million. This was followed by a mid-October purchase of 1,223 BTC costing approximately $100 million and a major acquisition on October 26, adding 6,182 BTC valued at $511.4 million. As of November 2, Strive's bitcoin holdings reached 43,124 BTC, valued at more than $3.25 billion at that time.
To support this rapid expansion in bitcoin acquisitions, Strive has engaged in substantial capital raising initiatives, including an outstanding public offering of 7 million shares of its SATS preferred stock on October 20, which brought in net proceeds upwards of $609 million. This offering promises investors a 15% annual dividend, providing a steady income stream while empowering Strive with further capital for purchasing more bitcoins. Moreover, their SATA variable-rate preferred stock program serves as a secondary funding avenue.
As of the end of October, Strive reported holding $490.4 million in liquid cash and about $50.1 million in preferred shares. This preferred stock strategy is advantageous in accessing funds without direct borrowing, albeit it entailed ongoing dividend responsibilities irrespective of bitcoin value fluctuations.
Future Outlook and Market Vulnerability
Matthew Cole, Strive's Chairman and CEO, expressed optimism about the company's treasury management strategy and highlighted its successful bitcoin yield performance for the year. He acknowledged that the company's common stock success is tied to its efficient bitcoin accumulation strategies, which allow it to yield long-term returns for shareholders.
Looking ahead, Strive is also exploring opportunities in various financial services sectors including banking, brokerage, decentralized finance, and asset tokenization, aiming to leverage its growing financial footing amid the volatile crypto market landscape.
While the latest quarterly figures reflect a significant profit, they simultaneously emphasize Strive's vulnerability to bitcoin price volatility, raising a mixed bag of expectations for shareholders amidst burgeoning preferred stock obligations as the company forges ahead in its bitcoin accumulation efforts.
