H100 Group CEO Increases Holdings

Eirik Grøttum, the Chief Executive Officer of H100 Group, has significantly increased his holdings in the company through a series of stock purchases that amount to 407,163 shares and a total expenditure of SEK 621,887. Concurrently, H100 Group has announced it maintains a Bitcoin treasury totaling 3,506.4 BTC.

Stock Purchases and Company Structure

On September 17, the company revealed in a primary-insider disclosure that these transactions were executed by Kode Oslo AS, a business in which Grøttum is a key stakeholder. Specifically, Kode Oslo acquired the bulk of its shares—405,663—on September 15, at an average price of SEK 1.53, and earlier purchased 1,500 shares on August 19 at SEK 1.40. Overall, this brings Kode Oslo’s total H100 shares to 2,771,787 following these acquisitions. Grøttum not only participates in decision-making at Kode Oslo but also holds a 20% equity stake in the firm, which is closely linked to his role at H100.

In addition, another company associated with Grøttum—Olav Grøttum Holding AS—owns an additional 2,627,677 shares, bringing the total stock held by Grøttum’s network to 5,399,464 shares post-purchase.

Clarification on Bitcoin Investments

It’s important to clarify that this stock purchase by Grøttum does not indicate a new investment in Bitcoin itself; H100’s Bitcoin holdings remain unchanged in the public record. Grøttum stepped into the CEO role just days after H100’s significant acquisition of NSD AS on August 10, which notably boosted the company’s Bitcoin holdings from 1,051.03 BTC to its current tally of 3,506.4 BTC.

Strategic Acquisition Details

The strategic acquisition of NSD AS involved no cash transaction; instead, it resulted in the issuance of 790,534,666 new shares valued at SEK 1.86 each, which adjusted H100’s outstanding shares dramatically. This acquisition was publicly branded as the largest merger and acquisition in the European public Bitcoin equity sector, a claim that the company has made but hasn’t necessarily been vetted by outside parties.

Company’s Financial Performance

H100’s journey in Bitcoin began much more modestly, with an initial purchase of just 4.39 BTC in May 2025. This trajectory reflects the company’s broader ambition to be a technology provider within the health and longevity sectors alongside its unique strategy of treasury management in Bitcoin. However, this approach also exposes H100’s financial performance to fluctuations in cryptocurrency markets, recently resulting in an operating loss of SEK 88.7 million and a pre-tax loss of SEK 98.2 million during the second quarter.

Future Outlook

Amid these developments, H100 is also looking ahead to new share repurchase rules in Sweden, set to take effect on December 5, which could provide new avenues for capital allocation strategies, particularly if the company’s shares continue to trade below their net asset value. Nonetheless, as of now, no share repurchase program has been formally initiated, with any future moves subject to shareholder approval.
