To bolster its defenses against social engineering threats, Binance routinely conducts simulated phishing exercises targeting its employees every month. The initiative, spearheaded by Chief Security Officer Jimmy Su, involves a dedicated red team that fabricates various attack scenarios to gauge the ability of staff to identify deceptive messages, links, and requests that may compromise security.
Training and Accountability
Those who do not recognize these simulated threats are required to complete additional training sessions. Persistent failure can negatively influence their job performance evaluations, potentially leading up to termination.
